June saw 6,770 homes sold through Toronto real estate board members, an increase of 9.4 % compared to June 2025 and 17, 282 new listings entered into the market, down by 12.9 % year-over-year.
The Toronto real estate market conditions continue to improve month by month, with the number of sales increasing and the listing inventory shrinking month by month. The real estate market in Toronto seems to be well on its way to turning the corner towards a recovery.
I believe that as we enter the second half of the year, there will be more transactions taking place and more competition between buyers due to the pent-up demand present, and this will ultimately result in renewed price growth.
Now, all of the information above is based on averages, which gives a sense of the market, but the reality is that there are many real estate markets based on location, price, type of home, square footage, just to name a few. A 400 sq ft condominium is less desirable and is harder to sell compared to a well-priced detached or semi-detached home.
